Cornerstone's first annual Purple Tie Gala is sure to impress and help women move past crisis into hope and healing.
The event will take place on Saturday, September 14 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the Alma Duncan Room, and exterior terraces Ottawa Art Gallery - Galerie d'art d'Ottawa.
It promises to be a sophisticated night of signature cocktails by Top Shelf Distillers, beer by Flora Hall Brewing, and wine by Château des Charmes, gourmet food stations by the exclusive Jackson / Jackson Café, live music by 9-piece powerhouse band Sly High presented by Third World Bazaar, fashion by Sukhoo Sukhoo Couture, art and dance, in one of the newest and most dynamic settings in downtown Ottawa. Attendees will also have the opportunity to view new OAG exhibitions during the event.
Emcees of the evening, CBC’s Lucy van Oldenbarneveld and Joseph Cull, winner of the Mayor’s City Builder award, will keep the energy going for this wonderful event. An extra special thanks to our sponsors Emond Harnden, High Tide Coaching, and Ottawa Special Events.
A silent and live auction will include an African safari, event tickets, gourmet gift baskets and dozens more exclusive items. Due to overwhelming support, more items are being added to the list every week.
The dress is formal, and wearing your most creative purple attire and accessories will be highly encouraged.
Please join us and help the women of our community transform their lives from crisis to hope and home.
