As a Cornerstone volunteer, you can be a vital piece of the puzzle that helps women break the cycle of poverty and homelessness and build a new life of hope and stability.

We have limited volunteer opportunities, however we always welcome discussing new ideas and projects!

We actively recruit volunteers from equity-seeking groups that represent the communities we serve: new Canadians, indigenous people, LGBTQ2 and all gendered people, as well as those with lived experience of homelessness and housing insecurity.

At Cornerstone, we work with women in an especially vulnerable time. As such, we screen all volunteers and staff carefully, to uphold the highest standards of confidentiality, appropriate boundaries and supportive, sustainable relationships.
